Talladega Foundry assigns an identified storage location for every pattern and core box within our facility. This organized approach ensures that tooling can be efficiently located and prepared whenever it is needed for production.
All pattern locations are stored and tracked within our software system, B&L Information Systems. By maintaining detailed records of pattern and core box locations within this system, our team is able to quickly identify, retrieve, and manage tooling throughout the manufacturing process, helping to maintain efficiency and consistency in our operations.
In addition to pattern production, Talladega Foundry designs and builds core boxes that are used to create cores for castings requiring internal cavities or complex internal features. Our core boxes are constructed using several different materials, including wood, plastic, aluminum, iron, and RenBoard. These materials are selected based on the specific requirements of the core design and the production process.
